Experience

I am a proud graduate of Coastal Carolina Community College and UNC Wilmington. During my time at CCCC and UNCW, I received a vast array of experiences in numerous grade levels. Through training in different grade levels, I found my love for the primary grades. Teaching Kindergarten this year is so exciting! I look forward to laughing, learning, and growing together this school year.

Bio

Hello! My name is Tiffany Fountain. I grew up in a small town in Onslow County called Fountaintown. Yes, I have the same last name as the town. No, my grandfather is not the mayor! :) Growing up in a small community fostered a love for people deep inside me. There are people who just don't know what to do with their lives. That was not the case for me. Ever since I can remember, being a teacher has been my dream. I feel so blessed that my childhood dream has now become a reality!

Teaching and loving children is my passion. I attribute that to the wonderful community in which I live. From watching the generations before me, I have seen wonderful examples of what loving and helping others look like. It is my desire to model that very example in front of my students.

My family, friends, and faith are how I make it through this crazy thing called life. These things are what is most important to me. My family and church family have instilled in me the desire to be my best and show love wherever I go.

During my free time, I like to relax at home, read a book, or watch TV. Snuggling with my sweet, fuzzy kitty, Dusty, is one of my absolute favorite things. Playing volleyball is one way I like to stay active. I enjoy shopping around town, looking for good deals, especially when I am buying things for my classroom! Dunkin Donuts is one of my favorite places of all time!

Lastly, I am so blessed and thankful I get to marry my best friend this October! Dusty, my cat, and David, my fiancee, don't get along too well. Y'all just may have to stay tuned to see how well these two adjust to living with each other come October!

My Mission Statement as an educator:

In my classroom, love, safety, and learning are my priories. Each day, I will strive to love my students more and ensure learning and growth are taking place. I will be my best so my students can be their best.
