I attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana from 1996-2002. I received a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology in December, 1999 and a Master of Arts in Speech Pathology in May, 2002.


I began my career with Onslow County Schools in July, 2002, working at Blue Creek Elementary until May, 2004. From August, 2004 to June, 2009, I worked in Duplin County at Beulaville Elementary. I returned to Onslow County Schools in August, 2009. The 2014-2015 school year marks the start of my 6th year at Richlands Primary and my 3rd (nonconsecutive) year at Trexler Middle. 


Interesting facts about your speech therapist:

I was born and raised in a small town in Indiana.

I have two brothers and one sister. My sister and one brother still live in Indiana, and my other brother lives in New York.

My parents still live in the house in which I grew up.

I moved to Jacksonville, NC in June, 2002.

I have a wife and 10 year old daughter.

I have only lived in two states.

I have traveled to 36 states and 3 foreign countries. 

I don't eat any kind of seafood, melon, or citrus fruit. 

I decided I wanted to be a speech therapist when I was 14 years old.
